Minimal Watch Brand Plans First UK Store
Anglo-Swedish watchmaker Larsson & Jennings is set to open a flagship store in the Seven Dials district of London later this month, the brand has confirmed. The debut flagship will sell the full collection of minimalist, contemporary watches as well as in store exclusives such as previously unseen leather accessories and limited edition styles. For the first time, customers will also have the option to design a watch, choosing from a selection of Swedish and British leathers and new hardware options to create a bespoke style made on site in the LJX Custom area. A spokesperson also revealed plans for an in house fika bar, selling coffee to those looking to relax in a comfortable environment. The interior of the 497sq ft store has been overseen by Campaign Design. It will act as a continuation of the brand’s aesthetic, using raw materials and contemporary signage to create a classic but minimal retail destination. Larsson & Jennings watches are currently available online and via UK stockists including Liberty and MatchesFashion, priced between £195 – £345. The new store, situated at 53 Monmouth Street, is scheduled to open by the end of November.
