Marshall Headphones Releases Monitor Model

Masters of sound, Marshall Headphones has released its highly anticipated Monitor model. The new style, which has just become available on the brand’s website, aims to set a new benchmark in sound engineering. In recent years the headphone industry has adapted to accommodate the demands of fashion-conscious wearers. The Monitor is no different, taking its cues from the styling of old school amps. The exterior is embossed with the audio firm’s signature white script logo, while the black vinyl leather ear pads, heavy-duty metal hinges and brass accents help underscore the timeless masculinity of the design. A first for Marshall is the sleek over-the-ear approach. The move is intended to deliver advanced noise insulation without the added bulk. The double-ended coil cord is completely detachable from either of the two 3.5mm jacks, meaning the included remote can be worn on the left or right side. The idea is that that vacant slot can be used to share music with another listener. Marshall’s design team have even given a nod to travel-ready tech with the commuter in mind. The headphones can be collapsed to fit inside the included canvas pouch for protection. Drawing on the intensity of live performance, Monitor claims to have perfected a sound with refined deep bass, extended high notes and balanced mids. Custom-made, low distortion 40mm drivers cover the entire frequency range to ensure quality is always rich and dynamic. The innovative audio filters of Marshall’s F.T.F system allow users to create their own listening experience. Hidden beneath the magnetic ear cups, the two felt treble filters can be included to produce a warm sound, or removed to introduce a brighter and clearer feedback. The Marshall Monitor, which comes in a single black colour way, is available online at MarshallHeadphones.com now and is to be stocked in retailers from May.
