Noose & Monkey SS14: Exclusive Images
An up-and-coming menswear brand has chosen to reveal a series of new images, exclusively through FashionBeans.
Noose & Monkey, which launched via online retailer ASOS last year, became one of the top performing tailoring firms in the store within weeks of going live.
Bosses have also recently struck a deal with Arcadia to sell the AW14 collection in the Topman flagship store on Oxford Street as well as online. As part of the agreement, Noose & Monkey will produce an exclusive camouflage blazer for the West End branch.
Among the key pieces from the SS14 line is a floral velvet blazer. The style sold out within fourteen days of release, leading to plans from the British label to reintroduce it in a number of new colours next season.
A spokesperson at the brand told FashionBeans that Noose & Monkey will “shake up and inject some fun and humour into the high street tailoring market” with the expansion.
Industry names have also given their backing. Richard Thornton of the ASOS buying team described the firm as “exciting”, while a Topman official said the use of fabric and design details makes it “stand out from the crowd”.
Each piece is designed in the UK by a small London-based design team. Suits feature intricate details such as contrasting panels and a signature skull lining.
SS14 is available now via ASOS. An early roll out of the AW14 range will begin next month, alongside the Topman debut.
Prices for Noose & Monkey start at £40 for shirts, going up to £135 for blazers and £195 for suits.
