Nudie Release Thin Finn: Back 2 Black
Swedish denim brand Nudie Jeans has released a new version of its Thin Finn jeans design. Dubbed the Thin Finn: Back 2 Black, the coated style is made with dry denim, topped with a layer of black resin.
The original Thin Finn was first introduced by the label as an alternative slimmed down version of the carrot shaped jeans, which gained popularity in the 1950s.
Nudie’s new unique-look jeans are crafted in Italy using 12oz comfort stretch denim, made from 100 percent organic cotton.
Over time the resin coating is designed to fade, producing a raw appearance with sharp contrasts and a matte finish. The all-black design is complemented by a gunmetal trim on the zip, rivets and button.
Founded in Gothenburg in 2001, Nudie Jeans has grown to become a leader in sustainable and organic denim production. The brand’s wear and tear advice for dry denim pushes owners to wait at least six months before washing. However, as FashionBeans reported earlier in the year, Nudie offers an aftercare service on all its products.
New Thin Finns, or any other pair of Nudie Jeans, can be altered at the label’s Soho store in London free of charge.
