Ovadia & Sons Autumn/Winter 2014

The design-winning twins behind Ovadia & Sons have fused Kurt Cobain with Saville Row for the brand’s autumn/winter 2014 collection.

Shimon and Ariel have combined sports luxe with sharp tailoring for the range, which is due to launch in the UK later this year.

With designs ranging from a leopard print pony sleeved leather biker jacket to a black and white checked suit, the pair continues to show their intention of outfitting a broad market.

Added accents of red and green stand out against the mostly neutral palette of blue, grey and black.

The brand’s famous attention to detail can be found via subtle hints of vibrancy, coming in the form of printed scarves and check trimmed pockets and collars.

Since launching in 2010, the Ovadia sibling’s clothing has been worn by the likes of Daniel Radcliffe and LeBron James. The label has become a go-to for men in need of traditional tailoring with a contemporary twist.

This season it is the inclusion of rock rebellion that delivers this modern feel, with silver shiny bomber jackets and skinnier cut suits. Of the unexpected move, Shimon said: “People won’t expect this but it’s another side of what we love.”

The GQ Menswear Designer Winners are hoping bolder pieces such as a florescent sea green or cobalt blue suit will bring a flamboyant twist to the collection when it launches on MR PORTER in July.

Prices for the AW14 line have been confirmed at $95 (£56) for neck wear, running up to $5,995 (£3,584) for suiting.
