Knitwear Specialist Selected For London Shows

Menswear collective Sibling will be the focus of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s next Fashion in Motion runway event, it has been announced.

Four free shows will be put on by the knitwear specialist on 21st November, presenting highlights from the label’s menswear range.

Founding trio Sidney Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery have chosen key pieces to include. The brand will showcase its modern and exciting designs, which aim to rework classic knitwear and denim with humorous and colorful elements.

On the runway will be items including Knit Monster, emblazoned with skulls and Frankenstein heads in an exclusive pattern called Scare Isle, collaborations with artists Noble & Webster and Richard Woods, and Please Kill Me, Sibling’s nod to musician Richard Hell.

Fashion in Motion curator Oriole Cullen said: “Sibling has redefined knitwear and helped to bring about a real change in men’s fashion in particular. Vibrant, revolutionary and always interesting.”

“Sibling are a great addition to our Fashion in Motion program. We’re delighted to feature pieces from their spectacular menswear collections.”

The brand is available at a number of UK stockists including Selfridges, Dover Street Market and Machine A in London and online via Mr Porter. Current collection prices start from around £195 for t-shirts.
