American footwear and lifestyle brand Sperry Top-Sider has signed a deal for a four-week residency in Covent Garden. A pop-up shop, located on Neal Street, will run until mid-July, housing a number of collections on a rotational concept. Stock will be updated on a weekly schedule, alongside new window displays, interiors and exclusive products. A range by New York-based department store Jeffrey has already passed through the space. The first change-over made way for an installation by customisation programme Make It Mine, which offers shoppers the chance to have items embossed. A rowing theme titled University of Regatta is set to launch in the first week of July, to coincide with the annual event in Henley-on-Thames. Sperry says the sport ties in with the brand’s “passion and expertise for the sea”. In the final week, the store will host tattoo artist Nick Horn of the Good Times studio in Shoreditch, East London. Horn will be on hand to tattoo Sperry products in store alongside a selection of his own artwork, which will be available to buy. The Sperry Top-Sider pop-up shop in Covent Garden is open now and will run until 13th July. Prices for the brand’s footwear range from £25 for flip-flops to £180 for boat shoes.
