Italian menswear brand Stone Island has partnered with heavy-duty fabric manufacturer Cordura on a range of bags. The four-piece line comprises a tote, holdall, messenger and backpack. Each is rendered in Stone Island’s all-over tortoiseshell camouflage print, recognised from use on the label’s clothing. Details include twin handles, removable shoulder straps, zip around closures, a multi-pocket inner and snap fastenings. The backpack features an additional padded pocket designed to carry a laptop as well as a tag for owner identification details. Cordura fabric is made from high tenacity fibre technologies. The durable textile has previously been used on luggage, boots, military apparel and performance pieces. The Stone Island bags are not the business’s first fashion collaboration, having worked alongside urban fashion designer Alex Valdman and Moncler. All four styles in the Stone Island x Cordura collaboration are available to buy online now. Prices range from £170 for the backpack up to £195 for the holdall and tote bag. The messenger sits in the middle at £185.
