Superga Re-Locates London Flagship
Italian footwear label Superga has relocated its central London flagship to the Carnaby Street area.
Following the success of its original store on Newburgh Street, the brand has moved mere minutes walk away to Fouberts Place. The pedestrianised area offers shoppers big name flagships as well as smaller independent stores.
Superga sits alongside Barbour, Cheap Monday and American Apparel who also reside in the district.
The new retail space measures 498sq ft, double the size of the original. The interior features scaffolding shelving units with white planks, giving the space an industrial feel. Red walls accents are recognised from the brand’s other retail locations.
Customers can take a break on leather Chesterfield armchairs in the store’s designated ‘chill out’ area or soak up Superga’s heritage by checking out the Italian Vespa scooter stationed in the window display.
The store has been further decorated with shots from the spring/summer 2014 campaign as well as a hand-painted image of a vintage Fiat 500 with one of Superga’s classic 2750 shoes strapped on top.
Founded in Torino, Italy in 1911, the brand has become known for its canvas bodied tennis shoe with vulcanized rubber sole.
Superga recently took part in the Carnaby Street Shopping Party, offering 20 per cent off for one night only.
