Brand Takes Darker Direction For Winter Season
Design duo Tom Lipop and Eser Aydemir have unveiled the AW14 collection from their T. Lipop label for the coming season, featuring casual styles and a darker color palette.
Outerwear is square cut, with short blazers, bomber jackets and long duster coats in wool, silk and cashmere. Oversized cotton shirts contrast with the silhouette, in varying lengths with raw edges.
Coordinating trousers in jogger styles complete the looks, ranging from plain to patterned in matching wool, cotton and silk materials.
The brand has also put its specialism in technical tailoring to work with a selection of pieces crafted from only two pieces of fabric.
Launching its debut collection in 2011, T. Lipop was shortly after named ‘Ones to Watch’ at London Fashion Week’s first men’s day, in addition to being included in Selfridges’ Bright Young Things initiative.
Last year, the brand emerged on the high street through a collaboration with River Island, as part of the chain’s Design Forum.
T. Lipop is currently stocked at BBS Clothing and Layers London, with its AW14 collection available from mid-October. Prices range between £150 – £300 for t-shirts and accessories, and £800 – £3,000 for outerwear.
