Subscription-based shopping service The Chapar has signed a deal with Ben Sherman to offer a handpicked selection of the British lifestyle brand’s AW14 collection. The edit, curated by Ben Sherman design director Mark Williams, falls into the online business’ home delivery model. Following a telephone consultation with an in-house stylist to discuss sizes, trend preferences and personal style, a dual-branded trunk is delivered with items assembled into outfits. Customers only pay for items they keep, while the rest are collected free of charge. Pieces available include clothing, accessories and tailoring such as a white Oxford shirt, Breton stripe polo, leather wallet, oxblood tie and navy mohair suit. Speaking about the collaboration, Williams said: “We are really excited to be able to collaborate with The Chapar on this hand picked edit… The collaboration is the perfect quick shopping solution for fashionable men, without stepping anywhere near a fitting room.” Other brands offered by The Chapar, which was founded in 2012 by former Levi Strauss president Joe Middleton, include Hackett, Converse, Scotch & Soda and Brooks Brothers. The Chapar x Ben Sherman trunk service is available to order online now. Prices range between £22.50 for a polo and £225 for a suit jacket.
