Charitable Brand To Continue Work In AW14

Ethical footwear brand Toms, best known for producing canvas espadrilles, has expanded its product range to include winter shoes for the very first time.

The business plans to continue its sell-one donate-one strategy with a collection of hi-top and chukka boots in full grain leather and canvas twill.

Four colour ways of each have been made available. The chukka boot, priced at ÂŁ79.99 for fabric and ÂŁ89.99 for leather, features a thermoplastic outsole, ventilated, moulded footbed, flannel lining and heel pull tab. In addition to brown, chocolate and black leather is a woven version in a blue, grey and tan pattern.

The larger Searcher boot, priced slightly higher at ÂŁ89.99 for fabric and ÂŁ109.99 for leather, carries the same specifications with added tongue gussets. The fabric models come in wheat and green colour ways, both with brown leather trims, while the all-leather options can be bought in black or brown.

As well as the new releases, the US firm has added a number of colours and materials to its range of lace-up footwear, which includes brogues, Oxfords and loafers.

Since 2006, Toms has donated a pair of shoes for every sale through its one-for-one scheme. To date the business has given more than ten million pairs to children in over 60 countries.

The brand’s debut winter boot styles, along with the updated lace-up shoes, are available to buy via the online store now.
