Watch Brand Partners With Danish Retailer
Triwa has released the third instalment of its ‘Sort of Black’ watch series, in partnership with Copenhagen retailer Storm. The collection first launched in August 2013 as a tribute to the colour black – ‘sort’ being the Danish word for black. The second instalment, Sort of Black Gold, followed in spring 2014. For AW14, the new line, entitled ‘Sort of Black Glow’, features super luminous details on the hands and index, giving a striking appearance, especially in dark surroundings. Each watch comes with two band choices: black plated steel mesh and a racing-inspired Tärnsjö organic leather strap. Triwa watches and accessories are designed in the company’s creative studio in Stockholm, where the team are inspired by the city’s stark landscapes, diverse architecture and inquisitive people. The current Sort Of Black Glow collection is available exclusively online at www.triwa.com, as well as 10 select retailers around the world, including: Colette, Paris; Hypebeast Store, Hong Kong; Storm Design Art Fashion, Copenhagen; WILDSTYLE, Los Angeles; F-O-U-R, Amsterdam; and the TRIWA flagship store in Stockholm. The watches start at £215 for the standard model and rise to £295 for the chrono model.
