Rugby Star New Face Of Anti-Aging Pills
Skincare supplement brand Imedeen has created a new position for international rugby union player Ugo Monye. The 31-year-old Harlequins star has taken on an ambassador role for the brand as its first ever grooming wingman.
The adidas-sponsored athlete will front Imedeen’s man-age-ment pills, which claim to reduce visible signs of ageing in men.
Each tablet contains lycopene, grape seed extract, vitamin C and zinc to combat damage caused by pollution, stress, UV rays and daily shaving.
When asked about the new role, Monye said: “Health, fitness and looking good is at the top of my radar. I turned 30 last year and I don’t want to start seeing the effects ageing has on my skin.”
Imedeen brand manager, Jo Tomlinson, said the Londoner is the perfect role model because of his commitment to health and grooming.
“He has trained with the best over his career and continues to look good and take care of himself. As he grows into his 30s, Ugo will begin to see changes in his skin so it’s important he embraces easy skincare steps,” she added.
Imedeen sells a number of digestible products formulated to improve skin quality, structure and firmness from the inside. Earlier in the year the business re-launched its line of tan optimising tablets via online retailer Niven & Joshua.
The man-age-ment supplements are available to buy online and from UK retailers including Boots, Harrods and Selfridges, priced at £40 for one month’s supply.
