Two New Styles Added To Men’s Collection
Anglo-Dutch footwear brand United Nude has released a first look at its upcoming AW14 menswear collection. The Architectural inspired firm’s new line features updated versions of its desert boot and brogue silhouettes, first released in AW13. New models to launch later this year will include a black leather boot with contrast white sole and a pair of metallic trainers. United Nude’s Founder and Creative Director, Rem D Koolhaas, told FashionBeans the brand has tried to “throw in elements of what’s existing… mixing uppers, geometrical prints and a lot more casual styles and UN sneakers.” On the two new styles Koolhaas added: “In general very excited about our growing men’s line, the new runners are great too. I’ve personally come to the point that I like our men’s shoes so much that I wear no more other brands even.” Launched in 2003, United Nude is available in over fifty countries with flagships in London, New York, Tokyo and Seoul. Plans for development are already underway with the brand inviting outside designers to be part of the creative process. “We’ve just started to organise a think tank style design workshop… new ideas will come from joining forces with people from different places with different angles.” The AW14 collection will be available to pre order from 17th July, ahead of the launch on 1st August. Shoes will be stocked in United Nude stores and online at UnitedNude.com, priced from £120.
