An All-American Partnership
Combing their streetwear and sporting heritage, New York-based label Supreme has teamed up with Boston-born ’47 Brand to produce a baseball-inspired clothing line.
As the official licensing partner of several American sports franchises, ’47 Brand has leant its New York Yankee’s partnership to the collaboration, making the team’s iconic ‘NY’ badge the focus of the collection.
Running with the baseball theme, Supreme has applied the Yankee’s emblem and classic pinstripe motif to a mix of sporting apparel, including a varsity jacket silhouette updated in lambskin leather, and baseball jerseys finished with team badges and Supreme’s branding on the back.
Elsewhere, Supreme’s streetwear roots shine through in new satin parka designs, basic T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts, each coming in the Yankee’s signature colors.
A range of skateboards, caps, bucket hats and flags round off the collection, cementing the origins of the two all-American labels.
The ’47 Brand x Supreme collection is available now in store at New York, L.A., London and online at supremenewyork.com, with prices ranging from £18 for flags to £498 for leather varsity jackets.
