Russian Design Talent Sets The Mood For SS15
Fashion etail giant ASOS has partnered with Russian design talent Gosha Rubchinskiy to bring us its latest menswear lookbook. Taking pieces from ASOS’ in-house spring/summer 2015 collection, Rubchinskiy was paired with stylist Max Pearmain to create the look and feel for the season, with the added responsibility of sourcing everything from location to model casting. The result is an aesthetic reminiscent of the nineties grunge movement – check the tie-dye T-shirts and bucket hats for proof – with geometric shapes and sharp lines throwing in a contemporary edge. Rubchinkskiy’s love for skateboarding and streetwear also shines through, with familiar views of London’s Southbank skate park and models pictured on their boards bringing the underlying theme of the whole campaign together. While we love the casual looks the duo has put together, we’ve already earmarked the geometric printed button-down shirts for our new season wardrobe.
