Brands Create All-New Trainer Model
Following on from the first drop of its spring/summer 2015 collection, unveiled in January, London-based menswear retailer Garbstore and sportswear giant Reebok have revealed the second part of their coveted collaboration.
For its latest offering, the two labels have merged Reebok’s Classic Leather and GL 6000 models to create the Classic Leather 6000 trainer.
Sticking to his tried and tested “Outside In” approach, Garbstore’s founder, Ian Paley, has reversed vintage Reebok elements by placing them on the exterior of the shoe. As a result, we’re treated to a towelling and suede mix upper, complete with panels of repeated branding and inverted stitching detail, while Reebok’s signature tongue branding is tucked away inside.
They come in two new colourways: moss green, blue and orange, as well as jade, coral and yellow.
You can buy part two of the Garbstore x Reebok spring/summer 2015 collaborative collection now at Garbstore’s Portobello Road, London store as well as online at couvertureandthegarbstore.com, with both pairs priced at £90.
