Cartoon Celebrated By Leicester-Born Brand
Known for its bold and brash designs, British streetwear label Hype has turned up the volume even louder with its latest project: a collaborative collection with The Simpsons.
T-shirts, joggers, sweatshirts, shorts and bags are smothered with characters from the American cartoon series, while the addition of a bucket hat brings the nineties nostalgia to an all-time high.
Main characters Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa take centre stage in the line, along with the much-loved Chief Wiggum, Krusty the Clown, Barney Gumble and shop owner Apu, all paired with Hype’s graffiti-style branding.
If you’re not so keen to wear head-to-toe Homer, slightly more subtle references come through on the Duff Beer and doughnut illustrated pieces, interspersed with floral and Hawaiian prints. Alternatively, just add a dash of cartoon fun to an everyday outfit with the unmissable yellow backpack.
