Peter Jensen AW15
After taking a short hiatus from menswear last season, London-based designer Peter Jensen has returned with an archive-inspired collection. Drawing on key pieces from his previous offerings, Jensen has created a laid-back line of casual separates for autumn/winter 2015, brought to life through abstract prints. Graphic pieces point to his playful Andy Warhol collection from spring/summer 2014, while cartoon emblems nod to his recent womenswear collaboration with Peanuts. Amongst the lip prints and animal illustrations, we’re also treated to a variety of rich-toned basics and ‘P’ printed varsity jackets, forming a modern day sportswear wardrobe for the fashion-conscious man. When we last saw Jensen try his hand at menswear in autumn/winter 2014, things were a little more formal, with tailored trousers and luxury outwear forming the crux of the collection. Although his latest offering offers a more relaxed aesthetic, it’s good to see that he’s stayed true to his signature playful approach to design. Look out for Peter Jensen’s autumn/winter 2015 collection when it launches later this year at peterjensen.co.uk.
