Luxury watch brand Tag Heuer is celebrating a modern footballing legend with its latest launch, releasing a new timepiece in honor of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Formula 1 CR7 chronograph watch embraces the trademark green shade of a football pitch, with the color used across the fabric strap, hands and indices, complete with a contrasting solid black chequered dial.
Logos from Tag Heuer and CR7 – the brand founded by the 30-year-old sportsman – feature in a stand-out shade of white on the watch’s face, while the nylon strap has been inspired by those worn by the British Army during the Second World War for resilience and comfort.
Meanwhile, technical features include accuracy to a tenth of a second, three small counter clocks and titanium carbide coating, all wrapped up in a slick sports-inspired design.
The limited edition Tag Heuer Formula 1 CR7 watch will be available for a limited time of two weeks from July 1 at The Watch Gallery.
