The unisex slip-on style, called ‘The Philosopher’s Shoe’, is a sleek, minimal design crafted from black leather by Oliver Sweeney’s Italian artisans, and incorporates The School of Life’s signature yellow shade on the heel tab and side stamped logo. However, the real talking point is the line embossed on the shoe’s sole: ‘Head in the stars, feet on the ground’, which nods to the project’s inspiration – a fable called The Astronomer who Fell into a Well.
