Menswear muse Nick Wooster has teamed up with Swedish label The White Briefs to launch a premium wool capsule collection. Made from 100 per cent Australian merino wool and crafted in partnership with The Woolmark Company, the line comprises loungewear, gym shorts, knitted coats and briefs, in a palette of olive green, dark grey, navy blue and black. While woollen underwear may sound a little unusual, American style influencer Wooster maintains it’s all in the name of fashion innovation. “I love the idea of Merino wool undergarments,” he said. “Since this is not an expected fabric and because it is important for me to push the industry forward, I could think of no better partner to work with on this project.” His collection with The White Briefs launches this week at trade show Pitti Uomo, with a commercial release date and pricing information yet to be announced. We can’t wait to find out what woollen gym shorts, coats and briefs really feel like on.
