Open Shoot TV

Further strengthening itself as a multimedia brand, Topman has announced its first crowd-sourced TV project, entitled ‘Open Shoot’. The initiative allows budding directors, set designers, stylists and producers to put their ideas forward for upcoming music videos and films from specially selected artists. Its first team-up for the ongoing creative project is with British artist Ghostpoet, who will be calling on fans to showcase their ideas for his ‘X Marks the Spot’ video using the hashtag #OPENSHOOT via twitter or Instagram, or by uploading them at Topman.com/OPENSHOOT. As a result, the video will combine a mixture of crowd-sourced concepts to create an original piece of film, which will premier on Topman TV on March 13. Topman follows in the footsteps of other fashion brands who have embraced the power of the online generation, including Burberry’s ‘Acoustic’ initiative, which gives a digital platform to budding musicians, and Net-A-Porter’s online interactive magazine, The Edit. Get involved in the Ghostpoet Open Shoot project from February 6-22 and see more details at Topman.com/OPENSHOOT.
