Each time the seamless woven upper has been applied to one of the brand’s iconic shapes the result has been flame emoji hot. The latest to get the Primeknit treatment has come sooner than expected, in the form of the Rod Laver. Despite having only just resurrected the vintage classic, Adidas has updated the tennis model in two colourways – white and navy – complete with signature toe panel, contrast heel and herringbone traction. The result this time? Not just flame emoji hot but also the lightest (and possibly coolest) Primeknit yet. The Rod Laver Primeknit will be available from 5 August at adidas, price tbc.
