Blink and you might have missed it, but Alexander Wang just pulled a fashion Frank Ocean by dropping a surprise new project in the form of a collaboration with Adidas Originals. Following in the footsteps of Yohji Yamamoto, Kanye West and Raf Simons, Wang has created an 84-piece unisex collection for the sports giant, containing T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and sneakers. Unveiled at the end of his spring/summer 2017 runway show in New York, the 32-year-old designer has literally turned the Adidas logo on its head, along with using emails about copyright infringement and cease-and-desist orders as artwork on the designs. We’ll have to wait until early next year to get our hands on the full line. Until then we’ll just be here gawking over these images and starting a new savings account. The Alexander Wang X Adidas Originals collection will be available at Adidas from spring 2017, prices tbc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNALffhxPb0
