Of all the unlikely places for find style inspiration, the fuzz of a TV screen when you flick past inhabited channels is up there with the most obscure. Though, that has never stopped London-based fashion label Trapstar, which made white noise its signature print and has now used it to update Puma’s Disc Blaze trainer.

A taster of what’s to come when the pair roll out a full capsule range of clothing, footwear and accessories later this year, the mini-collection features Puma’s laceless shoe covered in the bold graphic pattern, complete with Trapstar branding on the heel.

The trainer drop is also bolstered by the arrival of a Trapstar x Puma football top on the same day. The white noise motif appears again, this time in strips running across the shoulders and neck, while the usual club logo has been swapped out for a Trapstar emblem.

Unlike usual static, you could say this is one to watch.

The Trapstar x Puma Disc Blaze trainer and football top will launch at FootPatrol, Hanon and EndClothing on May 28, priced at £110 and £65.
