There are few things we relish more than a pair of comfortable joggers so smart-looking they could easily sneak past even the most hair-splitting of bosses. Topman has nailed it once again with this pair that trick the eyes of the HR department with an all-over grid check. P45 what?
Gothenburg-based Our Legacy was only founded in 2005, yet it’s become a staple for fans of sleek Scandinavian style, and is stocked in some of the best menswear boutiques worldwide. This corduroy shirt-jacket hybrid ticks all kinds of trends on account of being uniquely seventies without being remotely naff, and that is quite a feat.
The retro-looking New Balance 574 got an update this summer and it’s one that’s left it sleeker, slimmer and more stylish than ever. But it isn’t just appearances bringing the runner into the 21st century, the 574 Sport features a fresh foam cushioning and mesh sock-style lining instead of a traditional tongue.
If you like your sweatshirts with a side order of Sister Sledge, this understated number from oh-so-cool Parisian brand Ami’s new Family collection should make you sing with joy. And quite frankly, we’re not sure what’s better than a jersey that will automatically give your mates an earworm.
Former Chanel muse, fashion model, businesswoman and now designer, the impossibly stylish Ines de la Fressange is back teaming up with Uniqlo for a second collaboration. With weekend tailoring at its core, the whole collection is a very wearable mix-and-match capsule wardrobe, but we’re putting our money on this simple flannel shirt as the hot ticket to snap up.
Fast fashion e-tailer BoohooMan this week announced its latest venture: Big & Tall. An extension of the mainline, the collection includes all of the brand favourites with dreamy denim, brilliant bombers (like this borg collar number), perfect printed shirts and terrific tees. Prices start at a teeny £6, while sizes go up to a much chunkier XXXXL.
Everyone knows it’s considered déclassé to wear your own colours to a football match, but you don’t want to wear anyone else’s. Instead, wear nobody’s in this brilliantly on-trend scarf. And don’t worry, it doesn’t come with a requirement to understand the offside rule, either.
It seems the H&M group is taking over the world, or at the very least your wardrobe. Whether it’s a Cos shirt, some Cheap Monday Jeans or brilliant basics from H&M itself, the Swedish firm is on course for global style domination. Weekday is its new, more urban offering, which means it has suitably nineties-inspired T-shirts and hoodies, just like this one.
The design team at Adidas has yet again teamed up with the musician-who-refuses-to-age Pharrell Williams. The pair’s latest collaboration sees them looking to the golden ages of tennis for a collection of bright white, colour-blocked retro-inspired polos, trainers and even a cable-knit sweater. Personally, we think they aced it with this track top.
New to marvellous menswear site Mr Porter, eco-friendly label The Lost Explorer is the work of environmentalist, adventurer and author David De Rothschild. Drawing inspiration from his travels, and with an emphasis on green innovation, the collection is made up of pared-back separates and effortless basics like this jacket. Ideal even if your idea of adventurous is trying out a different type of craft beer.
AllSaints has made a name for itself turning out buttery-soft leather jackets that every man wants, alongside oversized knits covered in holes with slightly less mass-appeal. But this autumn the retailer has created the perfect length, cut and everything in between with these ankle-flashing carpenter chinos. Workwear never looked so smart.
H&M that makes the design interesting, and far too nice to do burpees in.
Hand-crafted in Italy from – Bambi, cover your ears – deer leather, these luxury trainers are more appropriate for date-night drinks than a gym workout. Though that isn’t to say they’re not practical – they’re shoe obsessive Oliver Sweeney’s lightest runner to date, it’s just that they’re too swish to spill a pint on.
British tailoring firm Hackett might be better known for its traditional two-pieces and smart shirts, but this season it’s kicking back with the launch of a 20-piece jersey capsule collection. Faintly retro and coming in a neutral colour palette, the Mr Hackett line-up is ideal for gentlemen who love to lounge (in style).
Parisian milliner (that’s fancy speak for hatmaker) Larose has been whipping up classic chapeaus since the 1940s, but what’s got us really excited is the firm’s new line of luxe baseball caps. This athletic-looking hat is neatly textured for the winter and comes in this season’s (literally) unmissable shade of postbox red.
Canadian accessories brand Herschel has crossed the Pacific to team up with Tokyo streetwear gods Wtaps on a five-piece military-inspired collection of wallets, washbags, webcases, and this awesome messenger bag with a super-cool seatbelt strap.
Technical brand C.P Company has long been favoured as the terrace’s label of choice by football casuals. While its winter jackets with built-in goggles might be a bit bold, we reckon with the smart, stripped-back design of this chambray shirt, they’ve really hit the back of the net.
Still think of Braun as just for electric razors and kettles? Think again. In fact, the German brand first launched this hyper-functional, no-fuss watch in 1889. If ever there was proof that style doesn’t go out of fashion, it’s this like-for-like relaunch that’s every bit as handsome today.
