Wearing canvas shoes in the winter can be at best damp and at worst unpleasant. Luckily, retailer-turned-clothing brand Opening Ceremony is back with another exclusive pair of Vans, this time aiming to solve the soggy skate shoe situation. Following the brand’s exclusive Natalie Westling, Big Cat and Mono releases, the fourth instalment in the OC and Vans collab sees the SK8-Hi get a serious update for the colder months. The rugged MTE edition, which comes in all-brown and all-black colourways, features Scotchgard-treated water-repellent suede leather uppers, a shearling tongue and lining for added warmth and a vulcanised rubber sole for extra traction. There’s also D-ring boot grommets and a heat-retention layer between the sockliner that will keep you warm and dry without losing any of the iconic Vans shape. Available now from Opening Ceremony, priced approx. ÂŁ104.80.
