Five Questions For James Anastasi
FashionBeans: What was your most recent fashion purchase? James Anastasi: A Jonathan Saunders green, black and white corded jumper with black sleeves.
Why did you buy it and did it come where from? I’ve always loved Jonathan’s clothes, especially his knits, and this one I had to have… Plus, I think it brings out my eyes! I saw it online but couldn’t buy it anywhere so a friend ordered it direct for me.
What’s your next purchase? I am currently looking to buy a calf-length wool coat from AMI which I saw the other day. It’s amazing, but I’m still searching for my size. AMI’s latest collection is available at select stockists, including MatchesFashion and Mr Porter.

What’s your daily essential piece at the moment? As it’s winter, my most essential pieces are my M&S pure wool socks. Can’t leave home without them.
Your dream purchase? This is tough… I’d love to say something amazing from Yohji or Craig Green, but at heart I love the classics. So, it would have to be either a beautiful Lanvin suit or luggage from Vuitton. Don’t make me choose!
