Barbour Tailoring Collection

Barbour is looking to meet a growing consumer demand for sharp and modern cuts with their new Tailoring Collection. “From the Country to the City”, Barbour’s new range continues to cement its reputation as a lifestyle brand that offers clothing for every environment – from the rolling hills of the countryside to the concrete and stale air of the city.

“Recent trends in the marketplace have shown that customers are looking for a smarter, more tailored look in their wardrobe. Versatile and easy to wear, tweed tailoring is ideal for all occasions, whether it’s a day in the country, out for dinner or the commute to work.” Ian Bergin, Barbour Head of Menswear

The collection of blazers has been developed and produced by tailoring masters Berwin & Berwin, British tailors since 1885, and constructed exclusively from revered British tweed manufacturers, including Robert Noble, Moon, Mallalieus and Harris Tweed. The Tailoring Collection is designed for all occasions and features signature Barbour hallmarks, such as tartan trims, piping detail, side panels, under collars, shoulder patches and inside pocket jets. The blazers are grouped into three distinct fits: Classic, Lifestyle and Heritage.

The Classic Range

The ‘Classic’ tweed styles are the most structured and tailored designs within the collection, offering a universal fit that will suit most body shapes. The jackets feature both fixed and floating canvasses as well as structured collars and shoulders. Designed to be the ultimate wardrobe staple, the Classic jackets come in twenty-four different fabrics, so there is something for everyone:

The Lifestyle Range

The ‘Lifestyle’ range features a slightly slimmer silhouette, in comparison to the ‘Classic’ styles, and a more natural structure that is designed for country or city wear. All jackets feature a higher rever and come in regular or long finishes:

The Heritage Range

The last of the three, ‘Heritage’, is Babour’s modern take on a classic style. Unstructured and made with narrow shoulders, the ‘Heritage’ jacket features a slim fit and three-button construction. The styles are split in two: one with shoulder and yoke overlays, and one without:
