Having previously showcased the Duffer of St George SS13 lookbook a few weeks back, we thought it was only fitting to give you a closer, more detailed look at the brand’s latest offerings – in the form of their spring/summer 2013 backpack collection. Providing customers with a highly affordable range of stylish yet practical backpacks, this collection offers something for everyone. Colour-blocking and striking bold colour options have been created for those who want to make a statement and maximise attention, whilst those who prefer their accessories more subtle can pick from timeless hues and traditional embellishments such as leather piping and trims. The two styles from this collection that have made it on to our shortlist this season are the ‘Oakdale’ and ‘Rochester’. The ‘Oakdale’ features a traditional backpack silhouette that has been brought bang up to date via contemporary colour ways. Available in a variety of different hues – from blue and burgundy to green and black – It was the squash orange hue which immediately caught the team’s attention.
