Hackett Leading Man Campaign

Hackett’s latest campaign, designed to showcase their superb AW13 collection, is titled ‘The Leading Man’. It stars legendary actor Pierce Brosnan as the new face of the brand, with Terry O’Neil the genius behind the lens. This newly formed creative pairing manages to capture an effortless, natural charisma that lends itself well to the idea of a ‘leading man’. Combining Brosnan’s signature big screen character as the successful risk taker – epitomised by his leading roles in a quartet of James Bond films as well as the Thomas Crown Affair – and O’Neil’s vast experience shooting stalwarts like Frank Sinatra and fellow Bond hero Sean Connery, the result is a set of seven timeless cinematic images with a 1960s twist. With a grey and blue theme running throughout, Hackett showcase a classic three-piece suit, light grey flannel trousers, a two-piece suit complete with ticket pocket and one of the brand’s staple pieces, the navy packable mac. Accessories and other accent pieces from the current range are also incorporated within the shoot – such as a Prince of Wales check holdall, flannel pinstripe tie and solid cashwool tie – meaning you can be forgiven for wondering what part of the campaign is the highlight: Pierce’s starring role, O’Neil’s photographic wizardry or Hackett’s AW13 collection. One thing is for sure, though, all three are a reflection of every man’s desire to be a leader and the star of the show in their chosen field. You can shop the look now at Hackett.com.
