Jimmy Choo Opens Men’s Accessories Store
Jimmy Choo has opened a new dedicated men’s accessories store in the heart of London’s fashionable Mayfair. Located on Dover Street, the plush new 1,200 square foot store boasts postcode neighbours that includes The Ritz, Christian Louboutin and Comme Des Garçons’ Dover Street Market.

The store is split over two floors and showcases all of Jimmy Choo’s menswear accessories – from bags and shoes to leather goods and scarves. The décor is incredibly masculine, saturated almost to the point of feeling you have stepped into the Jimmy Choo man’s very own home. Creative Director Sandra Choi says, “The Jimmy Choo man is definitely a playboy, he’s a bit 1960s James Bond, and this is his boudoir.” The space is filled with lush fabrics, exotic prints and real furs and skins. Downstairs holds another surprise; the store’s very own purpose-built cocktail bar. Designed for use by customers for private functions and shopping sessions, the bar was put to good use when Jimmy Choo hosted some of best of the London fashion scene for it’s opening party. Sandra Choi hosted the night, with DJ Richie Culver providing the evening’s soundtrack, and nibbles flowed as tongued loosened while discussing the visual feast on display in the store. With the recent announcement that Jimmy Choo will be showing it’s new collection at this June’s London Collections: MEN, there seems to be a real shift in emphasis within the brand – leaving its usual home in Milan in order to capitalise on London’s ever-growing fashion scene.
