For the coming season Paul Smith offers an oversized houndstooth print in varying colour palettes, each as eye-catching as the next, with sun-blushed colours and vivid citruses being contrasted with shades of khaki and black. The AW13 collection takes its inspiration from David Bowie’s feminine aesthetic during the ‘Hunky Dory’ era and blends it with the masculinity of extreme cold weather military clothing – creating a distinctive look dubbed ‘Military Grunge’.
