Fashion & Food: A Match Made In Heaven
Do you love steak as much as you love shoes? If so, you’ll be salivating over London’s latest fashion pairing: luxury shoe manufacturers Pinucci’s and food chain STK – restaurants which combine the modern steakhouse with a chic lounge setting. The new partnership will come together this June as part of London Collections: MEN, where Pinucci will present their new ‘Clarges St.’ collection. Entitled ‘For Him’, the collection will be unveiled on Monday 17th June against the contemporary background of STK’s Strand branch. Pinucci London have described themselves as “delighted” to be working alongside STK for the forthcoming presentation, as their diners are the target demographic for the brand. STK’s stylish and modern interiors will provide the perfect backdrop for the showcase of the shoe collection, which is both hand-crafted and sustainably made; the same as STK’s delicious cuisine. The event will showcase the ‘Clarges St’ collection of covetable loafers, monk shoes and brogues, created in sumptuous leathers in a rich colour palette. The collections are designed in London by founder and designer Alexandra Van Berckel, with each Pinucci creation brought to life using the highest quality Italian and Spanish leathers and suede’s in the brand’s continental artisan workshops. The unveiling will take place Monday 17th June 2013 from 12pm – 5pm.
