Supra Skytop IV Trainers
Footwear mega brand Supra have announced that their new Skytop IVs will be landing in stores on the 28th November 2013. The Skytop IV sees one of Supra’s most iconic silhouettes move onto the next stage, complete with a new re-imagining. The Skytop IV are a rugged constructed hi-top and will be available in two colour ways: red/black and black/red. Chad Muska, a professional skateboarder and member of the Supra skate team, envisioned the new design. Also an artist and entrepreneur, Muska has designed a fashionable, modern hi-top that’s suitable for everyday use and a clear development of the globally recognised Skytop.
“The Skytop IV is something completely new, it’s pushing footwear design into the future, yet it takes its inspiration from all previous models. I’m really excited about this release because it feels similar to the original Skytop release: there is nothing else out there like this.” Chad Muska
The Skytop IV hi-tops feature a short eyestay and a long, clean vamp with an extra long tongue that has ribbed padding and unique hexagonal eyelet detail. Round the back there’s a durable heel pull, ribbed padding on the heel collar and a padded mesh interior. Additionally, the Skytop IV has a padded ‘shroud’, which can be removed, that attaches to the top eyelet and TPR inset pads with rivets – these are the only two releases from Supra that will come with the shroud. The shoe rests on a comfortable, lightweight Suprafoam midsole with a ridged heel accent and unique sidewall line. A rubber outsole with a toe bumper finishes the trainer’s look and provides superior traction. The new Skytop IV trainers will be available exclusively at Size? in time for Christmas. They have definitely gone to the top of our wishlist.
