Continuing its collaborations with smaller independent brands, heritage label Barbour has teamed up with Deus Ex Machina. Known for their hard wearing apparel as well as custom motorcycles and surfboards, the collaboration is a perfect fit, pulling together two iconic British and Australian outdoor brands.
The resulting range includes denim, sweatshirts, t-shirts and re-workings of Barbour classics – such as the Horace jacket, which comes in a weathered waxed finish and is our highlight from the collection.
A more recent addition is the newly launched International Rucksack. Made from a similar material to the Horace jacket, the roll top bag is crafted from super-heavyweight 18oz waxed canvas with leather side panel pockets.
Brass effect hardware and further multiple front pockets lend a rugged aesthetic to the style. Giving that aesthetic some real meaning, it’s the functional features that make the International not only a viable style option, but also a piece of kit that can certainly handle a few outback rides.
The Barbour x Deus Ex Machina International Rucksack is available now from StyleCreep, priced £239.20.
