US outdoor brand Filson has taped British menswear designer Nigel Cabourn to create a range of outerwear for AW14.
Six pieces make up the limited edition line, which pulls on both business’ combined experience of over 150 years.
Included is a 1930s cruiser-inspired jacket, adjustable WWI style hunting coat, soft hunting jacket, wool-lined clip coat and two work cape jackets in waxed cotton and oil tin cloth. Colour ways across the collection include olive, forest green and tan.
A statement on Nigel Cabourn’s website reads: “As expected each item has a sense of history and place, a distinct fit and design details all underpinned by the highest level of Filson quality.”
In September Filson also teamed up with online menswear retailer Mr Porter to launch an exclusive range of bags.
Nigel Cabourn, who launched his eponymous menswear brand in the seventies, opened his first European flagship Covent Garden, London, this September.
The C.C Filson by Nigel Cabourn collection is available to buy now via UK stockist End Clothing. Prices range between £525 for hunting jacket and £645 for the clip coat.
