Scottish cashmere and woollen brand Johnstons of Elgin has relaunched its pop-up personalisation service in Selfridges stores across the UK ahead of the festive season. The new larger spaces, which will remain in place until Christmas Eve, offer shoppers the opportunity to have names or messages embroidered on a range of pieces such as hats, gloves, scarves and throws. Fabrics include lambswool, cashmere and Merino wool in tartan, check and striped styles. Product prices start from £25 for scarves, £35 for gloves £125 for throws and £495 for ponchos. Embroidery costs £5 per letter on small items and £25 per letter on larger pieces. It forms part of Selfridges 2014 Christmas installations, which is also offering personalisation on products from the likes of Nutella, Mr Men and Eleven Paris. Johnstons Of Elgin was founded in 1797 and is known for its own label products as well as producing for luxury brand’s Burberry, Hermès and Chanel. The Johnstons Of Elgin Embroidery pop-up personalisation service is available at Selfridges in London, Manchester and Birmingham from now until close on 24th December.
