British Fashion Council Announces London Collections: Men Support
The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced which menswear designers will receive Newgen Men support at London Collections: Men AW15 as the fashion event enters a four day schedule for the first time.
Ready-to-wear brand Vidur has joined the existing list of emerging talents in the Topman-sponsored initiative.
Agi & Sam, Astrid Andersen, Craig Green, Lee Roach and Nasir Mazhar will be given support to show in a runway format. Meanwhile, Alex Mullins and Cmmn Swdn will be on display in presentation spaces, Diego Vanassibara will put on an installation and Kit Neale will be helped to deliver a salon show.
Raj Mister and Richard Brand of Vidur said: “We are honored to be part of Newgen Men, and are extremely grateful to the British Fashion Council, the Newgen Men committee and Topman for their continued support and promotion of emerging menswear designers.”
Topman marketing director Jason Griffiths added: “January will see yet another very strong seasonal line-up for Newgen Men at London Collections: Men. We are very proud to be the continued sponsor for this important award…”
He went on to mention that three of the designers selected – Astrid Andersen, Craig Green and Lee Roach – have been nominated in the Emerging Menswear category at The 2014 British Fashion Awards, which will take place on 1st December.
London Collections: Men AW15 will run between 9th – 12th January 2015, with a provisional schedule expected to be released in the coming weeks.
