Premium lifestyle brand Orlebar Brown has continued its theme of collaborating with artists by working with Greek illustrator Konstantin Kakanias. The six-piece collection, which originally previewed at London Collections: Men AW14, features three exotic-inspired designs applied to the label’s OB classic Bulldog style. The exclusive range is also the first time in which the swimwear brand has printed on one of its Tommy t-shirts. Known as the original tailored swim short, the mid-length Bulldog shape uses a tailored fit with added side adjusters. The same three designs carried on the shorts appear on the relaxed fit cotton crew necks. Two of Kakanias’s creations centre on “scenes of flora and fauna” on a dark navy and light blue short, while a third shows a stand of flamingos on one of the label’s white products. It’s not the first time Orlebar Brown has mixed resort wear with art. Earlier in the year it released a special edition version of its classic OB swim shorts designed by celebrity tattoo artist Saira Hunjan. The OB edition Konstantin collection is available to buy now, exclusively from Orlebar Brown stores and online. Prices range from £95 for t-shirts, up to £195 for shorts.
