Orlebar Brown: ‘My Perfect Day’

Orlebar Brown has followed four menswear influencers as part of its latest campaign. The luxury swim and leisurewear label is continuing its exploration of ‘an OB way of life’, partnering with a handful of ambassadors to discover their ‘perfect day’. The video project of the same name tracks tailor Luke Sweeney of Thom Sweeney, shoemaker Mr Hare, kitesurfing champion Alex Caizergues and interior architect Jonathan Reed. Each separate film runs around two minutes, documenting the individual’s contrasting ideas on what the term means to them. Their talents and craft are showcased, with a personal narration provided throughout. Luke Sweeney’s version shows him at work in the studio at work and also in the boxing ring, which is a hobby of the Mayfair shop owner. The films aim to mirror the brand’s own aesthetic by using a sleek mix of black and white film and photography. Orlebar Brown also recently commissioned celebrity tattoo artist, Saira Hunjan, to create a special edition pair of its signature OB shorts. To coincide with the new campaign, the brand is offering one person the chance to win their perfect day this summer. Participants need to submit their perfect day online at OrlebarBrown.co.uk. Entries close on April 30th 2014.
