Classic Silhouettes Given Colourful Makeover For AW14
Saucony have added two candy coloured options to their Originals collection this season, in the form of the ‘Cavity Pack’.
Featuring two of the brand’s classic trainer silhouettes from the 1990s, the additions are part of the first Saucony Originals drops for autumn/winter 2014.
The Shadow Original Black Razz model sees “smooth raspberry suede teamed with liquorice black leather and lacing”, complete with branding in a coordinating raspberry shade.
The Cavity Pack also includes the Shadow 5000 style, which has only previously featured in Saucony’s premium offerings and collaborative collections.
For its mainline debut, the model comes in a mint green colour way, complete with a mesh and suede upper and “whiter-than-white” accents.
Created in 1991, the Shadow trainer retains its nineties styling for the coming season and will “transport your look back to the decade of Grunge, Full House and VHS tapes”, according to the brand.
Saucony’s full Originals collection for autumn/winter 2014 was revealed last week, featuring blocked-colour styles and neon detailing across the Shadow 5000, Shadow Original, Grid 9000 and Jazz Original models.
