Yuketen Launch The Moc Ischia
Style-forwards, artisan-crafted shoes and bags have been the mainstay of American leather brand Yuketen since 1985. Launched by footwear designer and leather aficionado Yuki Matsuda, the label is known for its authenticity and quality, influenced by its founder’s travels around the world.
Searching for skilled craftspeople and unique handmade artefacts, the range takes its inspiration from the various cultures Matsuda has come across, alongside his own and that of America’s past and present.
For spring/summer 2015, Yuketen presents a collection of classic Italian moccasin loafers. Named after a Mediterranean island, the Moc Ischia model is hand-crafted from select cuts of hand-dyed Italian calf leather and features 100 per cent leather soles and lining.
Hand-sewn and finished with a contemporary oversized equestrian-inspired buckle, these loafers are a beautifully made, modern example of next season’s big footwear trend.
