Tailoring Label Launches Tongue-In-Cheek Campaign
British tailoring label Hackett is laying down the law for spring/summer 2015, unveiling a global advertising campaign based on a list of rules formed by founder Jeremy Hackett.
Entitled “Jeremy’s Rules For Living A Better Life”, the tongue-in-cheek ads offer guidance on how to dress and behave your best for the upcoming season, all while paying homage to a selection of great British sporting events.
Captured in Majorca by photographer John Balsom, the sunny shots take us through rules such as “Trust Your Tailor As You Would Trust Your Surgeon” (number 12) and “Play the Field” (number 18), which nods to the brand’s sporting heritage.
Hackett’s signature gentlemanly style flows across the slick images, putting the spotlight on its immaculately tailored suits, alongside more casual pieces such as chinos, polo shirts and shorts, all perfect for the warm-weather months.
