Grim Tim Dry Rainbow Jeans
Gothenburg-based denim label Nudie Jeans Co has teamed up with Manchester’s Oi Polloi to exclusively launch its latest design – the ‘Grim Tim Dry Rainbow’. Inspired by the collision of heavy rain and occasional spot of sun that its home town often experiences – in addition to the colour spectrum of Oi Polloi’s branding – the jeans incorporate bold rainbow stitching on the back pockets and selvedge striping. Each piece in the limited run of 200 pairs is crafted in Italy from organic 14oz ring spun Japanese dry denim (slow-dyed to achieve the deep indigo shade) and comes individually numbered. Adding to the exclusive feel, each pair is then packaged in a Unica box, made from recycled fibres, and fastened with a vegetable-tanned leather strap. With a partnership stretching back to 2009, Oi Polloi continues to show its support for the Swedish label, backing its belief that raw jeans should go unwashed for at least six months.
