Two Scoops Please
Saucony has served up a real sweet treat for its latest release – entitled the Scoops Pack, the American running shoe brand has re-imagined two of its hybrid silhouettes in soft ice cream-inspired shades. First up is the G9 Shadow 6, crafted from mint green suede and finished with dark chocolate chip detailing on the base of the shoe and a speckled effect to the midsole. The yet to be revealed second instalment is set to see the G9 Shadow 5 produced in strawberry and vanilla shades, coming complete with flecks of strawberry to the side and a gum rubber outsole. First introduced in 2012 as part of a collaboration with Boston-based boutique Bodega, the two trainer models merge the sole unit of the Saucony Grid 9000 with uppers from the Shadow 5000 and 6000. The Scoops Pack follows on from other popular limited edition releases from the athletic shoe brand, including the Lodge Pack, released in January, and the similarly sweet-themed Cavity Pack, which dropped back in September 2014. The Scoops Pack G9 Shadow 6 launches on May 1 in limited numbers exclusively at saucony.co.uk, with the G9 Shadow 5 set for release on May 15.
