American running shoe brand Saucony has served up the second instalment of its ice cream-inspired ‘Scoops Pack’, bringing trainer fans a new candy coloured iteration if its G9 Shadow 6 silhouette. Following on from the release of the ‘Mint Choc Chip’ G9 Shadow 5 last month, which sold out in one day, The ‘Strawberry Vanilla’ model brings together a light pink suede upper with added accents of beige and red. Its bright white sole welcomes a strawberry-coloured fleck effect, similar to the last release which saw chocolate-coloured splatters adorn the heel, in addition to a gum outsole and touch of vanilla to the front. However, inside the shoe is where the real fun begins, with the inner soles printed with a melting ice cream cone effect, while an aptly place pair of crossed spoons take centre stage on the trainers’ tongue. Part two of the Saucony Scoops Pack is released today, available at saucony.com, as well as Hanon and Oki-Ni, priced at £89.
