Turms Complete Shoe Care Kit With Wood Case

You should know by now that handmade Italian shoes stand a chance of being passed down to your son. But they’ll only last if you treat them right. A process that becomes a sight easier when you’re packing this complete care kit (also handmade in Italy) which features every brush and polish you’ll ever need. Also useful should you decide to earn some extra money as a shoe shine boy. Available at Mr Porter, priced £650.

Revo Music SuperSystem

Ignore the retro styling. The Revo SuperSystem packs a lot of tech into its 1960s shell, from the pairing of furniture-grade wood and aluminium for an acoustic performance that punches well above its weight, to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and DLNA connectivity. It also comes with 24,000 pre-programmed, global radio stations. So you’re not stuck listening to Heart. Available at John Lewis, priced £549.95.

Saint Laurent Dinosaur Intarsia Wool-Blend Sweater

Saint Laurent continues its foray into statement motifs with this dino print jumper, finished with neon stripes and glowing stars. Perhaps not what you’d ordinarily expect from Hedi Slimane and his rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic. But definitely one to liven up the Christmas dinner table. Available at Mr Porter, priced £625.

Ray-Ban Optical Clubmaster Glasses

A new year, a new you? Start by trading in your old Specsavers favourites for a pair of retro style Ray-Bans. The classic Clubmaster frame is dainty and bold in equal measures, looking the part with your work tailoring or favourite T-shirt and jeans combo. Available at ASOS, priced £128.

Shore Projects x White Company Poole Silicone Watch

One of the smartest things about Shore Projects watches is the interchangeable straps, which can be popped in or out in seconds to switch up your look. The brand’s latest is a collaboration with The White Company, for a (you guessed it) white silicon strap, attached to the equally monochrome Poole watch. Ideal for finishing those tonal looks. Available at The White Company, priced £120.

Iris Hantwerk Cedarwood Shaving Soap

Canned foams are a triumph of convenience over quality. To lift and soften bristles properly, you need a badger hair brush and something to slather onto your face. Ideally, it would be this handmade, Swedish shaving soap, which is packed with skin-nourishing almond cream so you minimise the razor’s damage. Available at Folklore, priced £11.

Shinola x Muhammad Ali Great Americans Series

The first two instalments in Shinola’s Great Americans Series honoured the Wright Brothers and Henry Ford, with the former gracing a pocket watch and the latter a special edition of the brand’s Brakeman as well as a limited edition Runwell bike. The latest icon to get the Shinola nod is Muhammad Ali, courtesy of a limited edition watch with a red-detailed, boxing-glove inspired strap, each of which comes with a three shots of the legend, signed by photographer Thomas Hoepker. It’s a knockout. Available from Shinola, priced $2,250.
